Associate Accelerated Program

High school students in South Bend Community School Corporation are eligible to earn college credits and graduate high school with an associate degree. This is the equivalent of two years of college, saving both time and money.

The corporation has partnered with Ivy Tech Community College’s Associate Accelerated Program (ASAP). The program is free and participating students do not have to be interested in a specific field to be eligible for the program.

Although ASAP is for rising seniors to age 21, all students are encouraged to learn about and consider the program.

There are two degree options:

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS)
  • Associate of General Studies (AGS)

These degrees prepare students to move directly into the workplace or attend an Indiana four-year college or university with 60 college credit hours.
