The magnet program at John Adams High School focuses on problems and issues that cut across national boundaries and emphasizes the inter-connectivity of systems--cultural, ecological, economic, political, and technological. Adams' goal is to develop globally-minded citizens who recognize their unity in diversity, and their shared guardianship of the planet, and who work to create a better and more peaceful world.

John Adams High School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School(R) offering the Diploma Program, a rigorous, liberal arts, college preparation curriculum that provides students with the intellectual, social and critical perspectives necessary to succeed in colleges and universities both in the United States and abroad and to become change-makers in society.

At John Adams High School we encourage you to be a part of our tradition of excellence, to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow, and to be the change you wish to see in the world.
