Activating Student Active Directory Account With teacher guidance, students must activate their account and set their password from a computer at school in a lab or media center before they will be able to use the Google or PowerSchool programs.
The 3 steps below need to be done once at the beginning of each school year:
1. Student must go to a computer in one of the labs or media center and sign in using “other” from the initial computer login screen (may need to pull down apple menu and log out of current user.
2. Students login with their first name and ID for both their username and password. • example: timmy45643 is BOTH the username and password
3. Students will be prompted to change their password • student passwords MUST be at least 8 characters longthey can choose to just use their first name and ID# again or create something new (*note the process below for forgotten passwords).
