Pay Calendars

Many South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) employees had already been transitioned to a 24-pay (semi-monthly pay) schedule in 2022. In order to better serve employees, and to ensure operational efficiency, all remaining employees have been moved to a 24-pay schedule starting January 2023.

Please plan accordingly utilizing the 24-pay (semi-monthly) calendars provided as we transition to this new schedule.

At this time, we are not allowed to honor any one-off request as employers were required to fully opt-in for the deferrals to go into effect.

This is to reiterate the policy that the financial department has regarding the issue of manual payroll checks. The South Bend Community School Corporation is charged $33.00 from our financial institution for a stop payment, effective January 1, 2011. Therefore, we will charge an employee the $33.00 when placing a stop payment and reissuing a payroll check when it is determined that it is the fault of the employee. 

Direct deposit avoids this problem!
