Free and Reduced Eligibility Application
SCHOOL YEAR 2024-2025
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private
schools and residential childcare institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost, or free lunches to children
each school day.
We are pleased to inform you that the South Bend Community School Corporation has implemented the Community
Eligibility Provision (CEP) for meals served on the National School Lunch Progam and School Breakfast Program for the
2024-2025 school year.
All students enrolled in the South Bend Community School Corporation are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and
lunch at school at no charge each day of the 2024-2025 school year.
Although an application is not needed for meals or textbooks, households are encouraged to fill out a FREE AND
REDUCED ELIGIBILITY application if they would like to be eligible for other educational benefits. Some examples of
other benefits include test/exam fee reduction or waiver, Title I allocations, Choice Scholarships, and eligibility for
other discounts or program opportunities including those that maybe federally funded.

2. Under the School Services tab, select: Free and Reduced Meal Application
3. To search for a district, type South Bend Community School Corporation
The next page will begin the process for the FREE and REDUCED ELIGIBILITY APPLICATION.
