Dr. McCullough Elected Region 2 Director for ISBA

Dr. Jeanette McCullough, the at-large president of the South Bend Community School Corporation board of school trustees, has been elected as the Region 2 Director for the Board of Directors for the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA) during the 2025 Delegate Assembly. In addition to her new role, she served as the voting delegate representing her school corporation.

Region 2 includes the counties of St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, Kosciusko, LaGrange, and LaPorte.

During the assembly, delegates approved the ISBA's budget for the upcoming year, along with the 2026 Legislative Priorities and Foundational Statements, as recommended by members of the ISBA Legislative Committee. The assembly also confirmed a slate of officers and directors for the ISBA Board of Directors.

"Dr. McCullough's appointment as Region 2 Director reflects a significant achievement for our school corporation and the entire region," said Mansour Eid, superintendent of South Bend Community School Corporation. "Her hard work and experience will make a positive impact on all of our schools."

The Delegate Assembly is held annually to conduct essential business for the Association. This year’s assembly took place on September 15 at the Indiana Convention Center, where each member school board in Indiana is entitled to send one representative to participate in discussions and vote on important matters. Currently, all 290 school corporations in Indiana are members of the ISBA.

“The school board members who served as delegates this year are to be commended for their dedication and service,” said ISBA Executive Director Terry Spradlin. “Their decisions help support all school board members and ensure that their membership association continues to thrive.”
