Join Us for Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup March 27-28

South Bend Community School Corporation will host its annual Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup on Wednesday, March 27, at 5:30 p.m., and Thursday, March 28, at 9 a.m., at participating elementary schools.

The event provides families with an opportunity to tour schools, meet principals, teachers, and staff, and learn about enrollment requirements and academic programs. Families will also have the chance to interact with other students and parents as they prepare for the 2025-26 school year.

“We understand that starting school is a big milestone,” said Communications Director Andrew Goetz. “Kindergarten Roundup is a chance for families to experience our schools, meet the educators who will support their student's journey, and feel confident about this exciting next step. We want every student to feel at home on their first day of school.”

Children must be 5 years old by August 1, 2025, to enroll in kindergarten. Several schools will also offer Pre-K programs. Families are encouraged to contact their local elementary school to schedule a visit.
