Master Plan

School Board Member Dr. Stuart Greene, District 5, and Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance Kareemah Fowler invite the community to discuss the Facilities Master Plan. The meeting will be held Wednesday, May 25 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in the Pasture Room at the Roger B. Francis Branch of the St. Joseph County Public Library (52655 Ironwood Road).

The South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) and Fanning Howey, an architecture, interiors, and engineering firm specializing in learning environments, hosted two public meetings and conducted two surveys to gather input regarding the district’s facilities master plan.

“In keeping with conducting this process transparently,” said Fowler. “Dr. Greene and I look forward to meeting with community members and welcome their questions.”

Changes regarding district facilities consider four components:

  • Educational Framework
  • Demographics
  • Conditions
  • Funding
